Remove the Carousel for Manufacturers Opencart

For this tutorial I will be showing you how to remove the carousel for manufactures on the bottom of your store. For this I will be using my opencart dashboard. 

What I will be removing.

To disable this you need to access your opencart dashboard and find design on the left hand panel and click on it. A drop down menu will come down showing layout and banners, click on banners. 

What you need to click.

Once you have clicked on banners it will take you to a banner list. At the bottom of the list is a name called manufactures, now you need to edit this. Click on the pencil icon to the right of manufactures to edit this option. When you are in this you need to disable the banner in the status bar.

Disable the banner.

Now in your dashboard panel on the left you need to click on extensions, then modules, then find carousel > home page in the modules list. Once you have found it click on edit.

What to click on.

Edit the carousel module, go down to to status and disable the module, then click save.

Disable here.

The module will now be disabled, if you decide that you would like this module to show again just enable what you have disabled. Personally i find it easier just to disable the modules than delete them, in case I want them to show again.
